47: First Female National Football League (NFL) Official Sarah Thomas Makes History and Shares Story
Show Notes

Sarah Thomas is breaking the glass ceiling in the National Football League (NFL) by being the first female referee to work a Super Bowl, during Super Bowl LV!

She has been raising the bar for women in officiating however for years, dating back to 2015. At that time, Thomas was the first woman to be added to the NFL officiating roster. She made history again in 2018 as the first full-time female official in NFL history to ever officiate a Divisional NFL Playoff Game.

Now as she makes history again, Thomas wants to thank the men who helped her achieve this success and show women and young girls that with hard work and determination anything is possible.
