Show Notes

The healthcare system in the United States is broken and women in particular are paying the price.

Women make most of the decisions on healthcare for their families and often will use healthcare longer due to outliving their male counterparts. Yet a Commonwealth Fund study found nearly half of U.S. women report problems paying medical bills.

So how can we make healthcare more attainable and affordable for everyone?

Dr. Daniel Sem is the Dean and Professor of Business at Concordia University, Director of the Rx ThinkTank and coauthor of the book "Purple Solutions." He is sharing what he believes is the way to start to correct this  broken system that he claims can't withstand another 10-years at this rate.
