58: Can the Left and the Right Get Along? Braver Angels Looks to Unite the U.S.

We’re all feeling the tension in the United States right now. But studies show that much of that divide is coming from our own misperceptions.
 
Braver Angels, a non-profit de-polarization organization, is confronting the issue head-on with volunteers across the country. By gathering people into groups to host debates and one-on-one conversations, these free workshops aim to teach people how to talk to each other to hear and understand each other’s point of view.
