Women are strong. We are resilient, and we hold the power to bring new life into this world. And while having a baby is just about as natural as it gets, that doesn’t mean we naturally know what to expect and that we shouldn’t prepare for it. About one-third of birthing people describe their birth experience as traumatic, and too often that’s because we either didn’t know what to expect, we felt like we didn’t have control over what was happening to us, or we felt alone in the process.
The great news is, we can take steps to make sure we have a happy birth day with a positive birth memory.
Sarah Lavonne from Bundle Birth is educating and empowering expecting women and nurses alike to not only make sure labor and delivery ends with a healthy mom and healthy baby but that there’s also a healthy memory to look back on.
